Hohner Acoustics: Can A Date Be Both Cheap AND Classy?

July 02, 2008
Hohner Acoustics Summer NAMM 2008

Hohner has long been associated with budget-instruments that have been many a guitarist's first ax. It's a little surprise, then, to see Hohner guitars sporting Fishman electronics and even more so to see those same guitars making use of fancy tonewoods like koa and lacewood while still remaining decidedly affordable. Gold star, Hohner. Gold star.
