Rock To The Hand

January 30, 2006
You know the future has arrived when guitarists can control their wah-wahs and other effects with a wave of the hand. Check out Gearwire's Hot Hand demo video from the NAMM show at Anaheim. What's cool about this is how natural it is, considering your pick hand pretty much always moves in time with the music.

Blogs are always a main source of getting accurate information and provide you the handy results; you can get instant and reliable information which surely helps you in any field of your concern. I am post graduate in IT and HR. These days I am doing preparation of different online certifications and I found ccie training guide is the best helping source which is providing 100% authentic material. I also spend my extra time in surfing internet, listening music and playing games. After my exams I would like to join your group.

ROGER SMITH: Hi. I'm Roger Smith with Source Audio. We're showing here the Hot Hand. The Hot Hand is a brand new way of doing guitar effects. It's based on a little motion sensor that's mounted on your hand that allows the guitarist to express themselves in a whole new way and in a sense replaces the floor-based expression pedal.

What you see behind me is a gentleman who has got this little motion sensor that's mounted on his hand. It also could be mounted on the foot or interestingly also on the head, and by moving this, either with slow hand motions or with very rapid wiggling of the hand, it allows the guitarist to control an effect that has been dialed in on the box. There's also an expression output from the box that can be used to drive other types of effects.

This is the first product that we're showing. We're going to be doing an additional long list of other effects that will be based on this exact same technology, and that is the fundamentals of the Hot Hand, which is brought to you by Source Audio.
