Ibanez BTB 675, Ibanez BTB 676: Introducing New Five- And Six-String Basses
April 15, 2010
Two new basses have been introduced by Ibanez: the BTB 675 five-string bass and the BTB 676 six-string bass. The new instruments are said to incorporate the playability, balance, and features of boutique basses at an affordable price.
Both BTBs feature a thru-neck construction, deep cutaways for easy access to the upper frets, a 35-inch neck scale, and high-quality materials like the exclusively designed Bartolini MK-2 pickups on the neck and bridge.
The instruments feature a maple and bubinga neck with a light ash and walnut top, rosewood fingerboard, medium frets, abalone dot inlay, and Mono-Rail II bridge. The difference between the two is that the BTB 675 has five strings, whereas the BTB 676 has six. Both are available in a natural flat finish. For more information, please visit ibanez.com.
