Ibanez Wows 'Em With New Slipknot, SA Series Guitars
IBANEZ REPRESENTATIVE: This is the new model. Mick Thompson of Slipknot, it's a Mick Seven and it has the "Seven" inlay on the fingerboard. It's a mahogany body, neck through, okay, and it has a unique -- This is called a Fixed Edge tremolo so it's actually bolted down so it's a stable locking tremolo. It locks up down at the bottom, it locks up at the top, and it's bolted down so you can do the fine tune adjustments on a stable locking tremolo system. Reverse headstock, neck through body, mahogany body, EMG pickups.
Okay. This is the redesigned SA Series for 2006, and we actually brought out a more affordable set-in neck version of our SA guitar, abalone body binding, flame maple top, and you can see it's still the thin-body S guitar, and this year they added a push-pull pot which will split the humbucker and give you a true single-coil sound. The SA Guitar.
This is a more affordable version of the SA set-in neck model. It's a [SOUNDS LIKE] roll-call version, still the S series flame maple top. It also has the push-pull pot so you can split the humbucker and get a true single coil sound. This year, we've added a body binding and a matching headstock to the SA model as well.
