DAN AGOSTO: Hi. Welcome to Gearwire.Com. We're taking a look at the Ibanez RG2570E. This is also a Prestige model guitar, which means it's made in the Prestige factory. It's a little higher end. This is in Bridal Silver. It's kind of a matte silver finish, interesting color to say the least. It's a basswood body and we got a maple and walnut neck, which is pretty much standard on the Prestige Series.

We got 24 jumbo frets on a rosewood fingerboard. These are what they call Brown Mirror Shartooth inlays so they kind of disappear when you're not looking at them from the side. They kind of blend in with the fretboard, and let's see. We move on higher up the neck. Of course we have the locking tremolo because this has a Floyd Rose type style of bridge. We got this little bar here, sort of like a string tree across all the strings. We got six Ibanez closed back tuners and the Ibanez Prestige logo so you know it's a Prestige model guitar.

Now with all these Prestige guitars, you're going to get this case. It says Prestige Ibanez on the top, and inside we got the molded plush insides, little space to put your strings, your cables, things like that. It's a nice case.

So anyway, we go back down on this guitar, we see that it has two knobs, one volume, one overall tone. You also see that there is a five-position pickup switch. The pickups on here, they are DiMarzio IBZ so they're special made for these Ibanez guitars. We got a humbucker, single coil, humbucker. If we are in the first position, we just have the humbucker.

If we move to the second position, we're going to bring the humbucker and the single coil.

And we move to the center, we just get the single coil.

If we move into the next position, we're getting the bridge humbucker and the single coil.
