Get VocaLive effects and more from IK Multimedia AmpliTube 2.2, the latest and greatest version of the mobile guitar rig and recording studio app for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The free version 2.2 update adds the five vocal effects of IK Multimedia’s VocaLive app, which are now available for in-app purchase ($4.99 each or together as a bundle for $9.99).

The VocaLive effects available within AmpliTube 2.2 include Choir (a three-part harmonizer), Morph (a pitch and formant shifter), Pitch Fix (an automatic tuner for correction or production effects), Double (a voice doubler), and the self-explanatory De-Esser.

Version 2.2 also adds the vocal canceler (No Voice) features from VocaLive to its SpeedTrainer interface -- where you can slow down or speed up backing tracks without changing their pitch -- that is included free in all versions of the AmpliTube app.

In addition, AmpliTube 2.2 includes an enhanced preset system for managing all of your sounds. Presets are now organized in a folder-panel system to make it easier to store, find, and recall your library of sounds. New "favorites” buttons with 10 available banks are now available to store your 40 favorite presets for instant recall. When the entire AmpliTube Fender gear bundle or the entire VocaLive effects bundle are purchased, the new preset system will also show their related presets.
