IK Multimedia AmpliTube Custom Shop Adds Seymour Duncan And Orange Gear: Shop Stompboxes And Amps
Five new certified models from Seymour Duncan and Orange are now in the IK Multimedia AmpliTube Custom Shop.
Designed and developed in close cooperation with Seymour Duncan and Orange, these stompbox and amp models provide guitarists, bassists, and keyboardists the opportunity to plug in to quality gear directly from their computer running AmpliTube.
The two new Seymour Duncan stompbox models are the Power Grid distortion and the Shape Shifter tremolo pedal. The Power Grid has five stages and three-band active EQ, while the Shape Shifter reproduces the hypnotic tremolo sounds characteristic of 50s tube amps with detailed "Wave" and "Shape" controls that allow you to create many different effects. More Seymour Duncan gear models are already in development, according to IK.
As for Orange, the brightly colored amp maker worked with IK Multimedia to deliver three new officially certified models of Orange gear to the AmpliTube Custom Shop. These models include the Thunderverb 200, a powerful and flexible amp capable of all kinds of tones from vintage rock to modern blues, hard rock, and metal; and two new Orange cabinets -- the Tiny Terror Combo and the PPC212OB.
New additions to the AmpliTube Custom Shop:
- Seymour Duncan Power Grid stompbox
- Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter stompbox
- Orange Thunderverb 200 amp
- Orange Tiny Terror Combo
- Orange PPC212OB
The Seymour Duncan and Orange models are now available in the AmpliTube Custom Shop. The fine print: Gear models in the Custom Shop are sold using Gear Credits and are priced between 5 and 20 credits each. Credits can be purchased from $1.00 per credit depending on the Credit Pack purchased. Gear Credit Packs start at $19.99 and go up to $299.99 (for 500 credits).
