IK Multimedia Virtual Instruments Hot Buy Promotion: IK Plugins On Sale
Through May 31, 2011, IK Multimedia will be discounting all of its virtual instruments and donating a portion of the proceeds to the Japanese Red Cross Society to aid victims of the earthquake and tsunami that occurred last month.
The Virtual Instruments Hot Buy Promotion offers sale prices ($99.99 each) on SampleTank 2.5 XL, Miroslav Philharmonik, Sonik Synth 2, SampleTron, and SampleMoog. To purchase these software instruments at the special price, use the promo code SOUNDS at the IK Web store, or visit a local IK reseller. For each title sold and registered, IK Multimedia will donate $5 to the cause.
The Hot Buy Promotion applies to SampleTank 2.5 XL, Miroslav Philharmonik, Sonik Synth 2, SampleTron, and SampleMoog.
SampleTank 2.5 XL is a complete synth-workstation plugin offering powerful features and easy-to-use tools for making fully produced songs straight out of the box.
The next virtual instrument, Sample Moog, offers over 1,900 basses, leads, pads and effect sounds from the very first Moog Modular systems to rare Minimoogs, Taurus Bass Pedals, Polymoogs, Memorymoogs, and more.
Miroslav Philharmonik is an integrated orchestral workstation that combines the Miroslav Orchestral and Choir sample collections with a dedicated plugin instrument specifically tailored for classical sounds and arrangements.
Like SampleTank 2.5 XL, Sonik Synth 2 is a synth workstation, but with more synths and instrument sounds than comparable hardware or software, IK Multimedia says. SampleTron combines the re-creation of Tron sounds such as Mellotrons and Chamberlins with the SampleTank engine to create a modern take on nostalgic sounds.
In addition to the $5 per registration donation, the company will be making a separate donation of $5,000.
The Hot Buy Promotion will run from now until May 31st. For more information on, please visit ikmultimedia.com/vihotbuy.

I think it's great what IK
I think it's great what IK Multimedia did. Donating 5000$ to the Japanese Red Cross Society to aid victims of the earthquake and tsunami, plus parts of the sale. Too bad I missed the promotion. I found a discounted version of the plug-ins in a newspaper and I think I will get it from there.
My dad used to buy virtual
My dad used to buy virtual instruments and all sorts of virtual mixers and he tried to make music or to edit some recordings of him reading books and theater plays.I think he will be glad if i'll show him your site.
