Owen finishes up his look at IK Multimedia's AmpliTube Fender with a nod at some amps that came into our musical universe more recently. Like, the Fender Metalhead, and such things. You always knew Double-O'Malley was a headbanger, right? Right.  

Since Owen does spend a lot of time sitting around in front of the computer playing his guitar (I see it every day), he needs an easy interface to record his brilliant passages. Enter the IK Multimedia StealthPedal, which is apparently designed for just that. Owen takes us through the process, with the help of some jazzy splitscreen action.

If you love Fender Guitars, you also probably have some affection for their amplifiers and effects, especially the Fender Twin Reverb. IK Multimedia shows off their StealthPedal at the 2009 Winter NAMM Show, ultimately defeating the purpose of stealthiness in the process. Technically the pedal is meant to control Powered By Amplitube products and interface with your computer, but that wouldn't have made for as catchy of a name: IK Multimedia ControlPoweredByAmplitubeProductsAndInterfaceWithYourComputerPedal. That wouldn't even fit on the box.  

With help from the friendly Fender "tone gurus," IK Multimedia releases Amplitube Fender. It's the only guitar amp and effects modeling suite out there that has the thumbs up from Fender.  

The Muse Receptor wouldn't really be a very complete performance tool if it didn't have some pretty comprehensive effects bus routing options. Well guess what: it is, because it does! Bill shows us how to make use of it and them.

IK Multimedia is having a FIRE SALE? Well, technically, no. They're just bundling a bunch of Amplitube and sample instrument products into the Total Bundle 2 series featuring the Total Workstation 2 and the Total Studio 2 packages.  

Now that he's finished calibrating the IK Multimedia ARC System for the Gearwire studio (and freaked out every dog in a 1.5 mile radius), Bill plugs the new, custom calibration preset into Apple Logic.  

Every time I've gotten into a fight with a room I'm in (which is A LOT), it just goes on and on and on and on. Thanks to the IK Multimedia Advanced Room Correction System, I now can just take some measurements and prove the room incorrect.

Basically the software equivalent of Nigel Tufnel's instrument collection, the Total Guitar and Bass Package from IK Multimedia combines all the Amplitube products into one plugin, and none of the amp models are so rare you can't look at them.

Ever stretching the boundaries of post-modern meta-referentiality, IK Multimedia introduces SampleTron, a virtual instrument with realistic samples of sampling instruments like the Mellotron, which was the world's first sampling keyboard. Look for SampleSampleTronTron in twenty or so years, providing realistic samples of the sample collection that sampled the world's first sampling keyboard.
