Everyone's jumping on the app bandwagon, so why not IK Multimedia too. The company's latest app releases for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch are GrooveMaker Techno and GrooveMaker Trance ($9.99 each), which make it possible yet again for you to make beats and lines to seat-dance to while commuting to work.

GrooveMaker Techno comes with 315 loops in varying beats per minute, up to five free songs, and a library of sounds in techno-appropriate styles. Use the app to create and remix up to eight tracks in real-time.

Replace the latter half of the aforementioned app name with "trance" and you get GrooveMaker Trance. Its features are very similar to the Techno app, just trance-ified. This app includes not 315 loops, but 351 loops, along with the following features: instant control over eight stereo loop tracks, a Randomize function, real-time editing, drag and drop capability, and easy uploading of tracks to a computer.
