Image-Line Deckadance 1.5: The Laptop DJ Equivalent Of Bathing In Chocolate Just Got More Indulgent
The freshly updated Image-Line Deckadance 1.5 brings self-indulgent DJing to the next level with a new, more flexible sound engine, easier setup, and enhanced visualization / analysis options. Available for both MAC and PC, Deckadance 1.5's new audio engine ensures amazing sound quality and now supports batch beat-analysis of songs to reduce CPU load and load times as well as possessing time-stretching / compression technology. Add to that variable view modes, font sizes, iTunes playlist import, and other modifications to the playlist and DJs are sure to find Deckadance faster and more enjoyable.
The inputs and outputs of version 1.5 now appear as stereo channels hence making intuitive installation and routing of audio inputs/outputs. Users now have a choice of "auto" and "manual" beatgrid analysis modes, on a song-by-song basis, according to their preferences and the complexity of the source audio therefore adding more flexibility to Deckadance's DJ functionality.
Additional features of Image-Line Deckadance 1.5 include:
- Native support for the last generation of midi controllers (Vestax VCI-300, DJ-Tech Kontrol One, Stanton SCS-3D, Hercules DJ Control Steel, EKS Otus, Omnitronic MMC-1)
- Improved seek waveform that shows the start and cue points
- OpenGL render engine for Windows
- Unicode support for playlist/browser items
- Beatgrid move via mouse over the waveform
- Improved DVS engine when elastique time-stretching is disabled, etc.
- Option to switch between the old and new sound engine by the improved interface of the setup panel
- Fully compatible with Open Labs DBeat portable DJ instruments
Who would have thought that self-indulgence can be acquired for such little scratch (as it were)? The Lite version of Image-Line Deckadance 1.5 can be downloaded for free.
