Once in a while, you discover a company that can trace its ancestry back way farther than you can track your own. . . and then you know it's time to slap down some cash. That's how Daren Taylor of The Airborne Toxic Event feels about Istanbul Cymbals, even though a rep once engaged in some slightly devious methods to get him to see the percussive light.
