Jayzen Sound puts Carvin's bass through the sampling ringer with the release of Jayzen Carvin Bass Virtual Instrument for TASCAM GigaStudio. This library was modeled on the Carvin "Bunny Brunel" electric bass. The set brings pro quality samples with a wide range of tone to your repertoire.

Each note on this five string bass was multi-sampled through a custom made pre-amp. Samples were then edited and processed with great precision to create authentic sounding jazz and pop bass lines.

Included on this library are two banks consisting of ten patches each. One bank uses the rhythm pick-up while the other uses the lead pick-up. The banks are set up identically so it is easy to switch back and forth.

The first six patches in each bank are string variations that correspond to different positions on the fretboard. The next two patches are slide patches [one slide up and one down] that are playable over a range of notes, and down slides are even responsive to velocity over a two octave range. The final two patches are open-string harmonics and special effects [scrapes, unnatural string noises, etc].
