ALAN HYATT: Coming up within the next 90 days is the new MC-2. This is our half-rack stereo compressor, again full featured on the compressor with makeup gain but two extra features not found before. One of the them is called the gain reduction and hold. Now, for you guitar players, if you've ever run a string of pedal effects onto your guitar and then let go, you've always noticed that there's always a loud noise coming out of your pedals. You even have to hold your strings to shut that down. Well, with this device, simply by dialing it in until the noise is gone, hitting the hold, it will eliminate it. It's almost like a gate but a little bit more of a sophisticated gate, hold the gain reduction hold. In addition, we have a width control. So you can now take your stereo compressor and you can control the width all the way from a mono source to a standard source and as much as doing an extremely 180-degree wide stereo pan. One other feature found on the back is a dedicated side chain insert as well, very, very flexible, and that really covers it for the Joemeek like.
