Karma-Lab Reincarnated - Groove Nirvana: New Korg M3 And Korg M50 Sound Set
For the Korg M3 and Korg M50 (with KARMA M50 software), Karma-Lab has introduced Reincarnated - Groove Nirvana ($32), a new sound set of 32 KARMA-fied combis.
With Reincarnated - Groove Nirvana, you will be able to add to your M3 and M50 plenty of grooves and sonic textures in a wide variety of styles, ranging from hip-hop, dance, electronica, trance, and techno to ambient, jazz, new-age, film score, and world / ethnic categories. And at $32, the sound set offers combis at a dollar a piece.
This sound set joins Karma-Lab's previously released sound set, Catalyst, in the range of KARMA-fied combis. Each combi is made up of four complete KARMA Modules and eight fully-voiced scenes, featuring extensive control via the KARMA Realtime Controls (eight sliders and eight switches) and the other controllers (joystick, ribbon [for the M3], X/Y pad [M3], eight RT sliders / knobs, and two switches over joystick). In addition, the M3 / M50's Drum Track has been programmed to add an additional percussion or drum element in every combi.
Programmed by Scott Raposa and KARMA developer Stephen Kay, the set is said to represent hundreds of hours of work over the last year. Reincarnated - Groove Nirvana includes a 71-page User’s Guide that provides documentation for each combi, in addition to hundreds of tips and tricks on how to get the most out of each performance. Karma-Lab says that this sound set makes full use of the KARMA function and is the closest you can come to nirvana without dying first.
Karma-Lab's Reincarnated - Groove Nirvana features:
- Each of the 32 combis uses all four KARMA Modules and includes 8 fully-voiced Scenes
- Real-time control via the KARMA Realtime Controls (8 sliders, 8 switches) and the other controllers (joystick, ribbon, XY Pad, 8 RT knobs or sliders and 2 switches over joystick)
