Korg K61P And M1Le: Bill Holland Runs A Sub Four Minute M1Le Video
We introduced you to the Korg M1Le software in this previous video. Bill Holland continues where he left off in this high octane oscillation video, showing off some patches, blazing some fools and tweaking parameters to further show how to fit a Korg M1 inside your computer. Maybe it's like a hidden compartment in your computer or something.
BILL HOLLAND: If I want to, say, program this, I can go in here and adjust the velocity, cutoff, resonance here.

I can also use K61 controllers to affect resonance, cutoff, things like that. Let's select a patch here, program patch, make it a little bit easier on ourselves. And let's say I want to get a bass, pick a synth bass.

And you can switch up the oscillator to double.

You can affect your decay and [INDISCERNIBLE] time. You can also take your octaves up or down.

You can enable or disable these. You can switch over to monophonic.

And again, change up the envelopes and how they sound...,

...change up your velocity, the intensity, and the delay.

Change up the waveform.

You can also have your controls set up here. There's aftertouch control and your actual controller over here. Set how high your pitch bend goes.

I've reversed it.

Again, that's the Korg M1 LE. You can find this with the K61P controller, and Korg allows you to upgrade for a low, low price on their web site, and there's a card that comes with the controller to actually do so. It's a pretty cool VST, and if you get the K61P, I highly recommend installing it and playing around with it, but for now I'm Bill Holland and this is Gearwire.Com.
