Korg microSAMPLER

It appears that sightings of the SV-1 stage piano has also led to sightings and reports of two other instruments that are yet to be officially revealed by Korg. Some reports floating about the web indicate that these three new products have made their demonstrations at G-Roks studios in Tokyo, Japan. The Korg microSAMPLER is one of those that was sighted along the SV-1.

Some sources reveal that the Korg microSAMPLER is now an official addition to the Korg microSERIES family of instruments. The microSAMPLER Compact Sampling Keyboard provides a fast and easy way for sampling to be used in any musical application. A gooseneck microphone is the first and foremost feature you will notice in this new instrument, the main vehicle by which you will realize your own samples. Seasoned pros as well as beginners will have an easy time understanding the instrument with its backlit LCD and clearly labeled controls. Sampling modes include One-Shot, Loop, Gate, Key Gate (capturing samples by pressing a key), and Auto Next (automatic time-sliced sampling) with resampling available as an option in every mode.

Time stretching the samples can also be performed on your recorded samples. If you desire instant usage, the microSAMPLER has preset sounds as well as effects, an overdubbing pattern sequencer, editor/librarian, USB connectivity, and cradles for docking mobile music players. The Korg microSAMPLER is purported to become available this November 1, 2009 with an MSRP of 750.00. By the way, the microSAMPLER is a 37-key instrument that is either battery-powered or plugged in with an AC adaptor for usage in any location wherever possible.
