With a stack of amps and cabs that takes some serious going-through to decipher, Kylesa rocked the house at Chicago's Metro this April. Laura Pleasants took a few minutes before the show to explain a little about what's happening with all that sound.

It might come as no surprise that Krank Amplification figures into the Kylesa sound. Among the stacks behind her, Pleasants has a Revolution 1 doing its bit to blow everybody's hair around like on the Florida coast during hurricane season.
