Krank Krankenstein Amp Head
KRANK AMPS REPRESENTATIVE: We got the Krankenstein that's also a 100-watt amp. It also uses the 5881 tubes and the 12AX7 EH's. What's different about this amp, compared to the Revolution, you've got a lot more gain to play with. Now, Dimebag is a great guy. He loved the gain, so he came to us and he said, "I want a ton of gain on my amp! You got to make it for me!" I said, "Okay. You know, we'll get it going." So, what happened was we got the amp going, we're paying tribute to him with this gain and it's crazy gain.
But on top of that, on the other end of the spectrum, you've got plenty of room. It's a very versatile amp where you can back the gain down and you're not going to have any problems keeping up with any other classic players. So, it's a very versatile amp. Like I said, it's still 100 watts. You've got an overall master that controls master volume and presence for both channels. You've also got our patented Master 1 and Master 2. you also have the sweep control which is a parametric EQ. You get bass, mid, treble. You got the whole spectrum. You can move it further down the spectrum or further up the spectrum. It lets you change the tone as well as the Revolution has a sweep that lets you change your tone. It's a phenomenal amp. You can kind of dial it in any way you got, you know. If you've got a Stratocaster, if you've got a Gibson, a PRS, whatever you need for your guitar playing, this thing can handle.
