Kreavtiv Sounds KS ABYSS FM8 Sounds: Dogs And Cats, Living Together, Total KS
What's your favorite type of synthesis? Is it subtractive? Granular? Phase distortion? Truthfully, I don't care what your is, but mine is FM synthesis. First off, it shares its name with my favorite broadcast radio frequency band, and secondly, FM synthesis is exceptionally well-suited to synthesizing bell-tones and percussive sounds. That's whay I'm psyched to hear the Kreativ Sounds KS ABYSS FM8 Sounds is now available.
KS ABYSS FM8 Sounds is patch-collection for the Native Instruments FM8 synth and Kore 2 workstation plugin. Kreativ Sounds is very proud of this new collection, stating in their product web-description "FM8 synthesizer is based on frequency modulation synthesis (also known as FM) and it is very good at it." Yay! Gold star!
The collection contains 80 variations (20 sounds with four morph variations each); as NI Kore-compliant patches, each sound patch supports the Kore player's morph function for smoothly transitioning between sounds, as well as the ARP functionality. Additionally, each patch comes with unique controller information for mod wheel and velocity manipulation.
As part of the KS ABYSS series, FM8 Sounds is a "pay what you will product," with the only stipulation being that you will pay at least $1 for the download. With a keen observational sense of the current economic clime, Kreativ Sounds asserts that "This method of payment is great for audio hobbyists, enthusiasts and the next big selling artists that have a lower budget for the moment, but still want to have pro sounds in their audio arsenal." Daintily put, KS. All future FM8 Sound updates will be free for those who've purchased this starter pack.
