KRK Systems ERGO Sounds Complicated, But It Sure Comes Handy In A Messed Up Room
June 11, 2009
Students of Latin know this is coming, so I'll get it out of the way: You need to monitor your sound, but your room is far from perfect. ERGO, you need room correction software!
ANYWAY. . . KRK Systems introduces a room correction system to complement its monitors, called the KRK ERGO. Dave Hetrick walks us through the process, and it sounds just complicated enough to prove to me that it probably works great. Though, what do I know, I didn't even take Latin.

Good but
Well, another equalizer. The only method to have a good reference is in a tuned room and good reference speakers.
My 2 cents...
ERGO is good
ERGO is cool, and really works. It's more than EQ, BTW, and the analysis and correction really fix problems, more than just random EQ or room treatments. It finds and fixes problems.
