Kurzweil now has three keyboards in its PC3K series: the 61-note synth-action Kurzweil PC3K6, the 76-note semi-weighted Kurzweil PC3K7, and the 88-note hammer-action PC3K8.  

If you have a PC3K keyboard, you can update your current set of sounds with something even more current -- the PC3K Sound Download Library, a free set of samples and programs adapted from K Series keyboards for PC3K keyboards.  

If you own and play a Kurzweil PC3K, PC3, or PC3LE series keyboard, head on over to the company's Web site to get your hands on OS version 2.01. This upgrade adds a number of new features to the keyboards, including full V.A.S.T. editing, improved effects management, and more.  

In addition to updating its PC3 line of keyboards, Kurzweil added new instruments to its SP4 series of stage pianos. The SP4-8 stage piano offers 88 responsive and expressive hammer-weighted keys, advanced performance features, and more in a slim, lightweight enclosure.  

Owners of Kurzweil's PC3 performance controller keyboards (the PC3X, PC3, and PC361) will want to visit the company's site to download the PC3 OS V2.0 update, which gives each PC3 model new features and presets.  

Program mode is just the tip of the Kurzweil PC3x Workstation's power-berg.
