Lace, a guitar and pickup manufacturer, has just unveiled two new pickup models in their Lace Sensor line. The Emerald Sensor and the Purple Sensor are two different pickups with tones that mix well, which is why they'll both be included as part of a three pickup "Super Pack" that is also now available.

The Emerald Sensor aims for "Texas Tone" -- think of a Telecaster, subtract some noise and add some more sustain. It is recommended as a neck or even a middle pickup. Its resistance measures in at 5.7k.

The second new pickup is the Purple Sensor. It's designed to deliver hot, over-wound tone in the bridge position. It can also be used in the neck position for tone similar to a P-90. It has a resistance of 10.5k.

These two pickups are available individually or as two-thirds of a "Super Pack" which features a reverse round Silver Sensor middle pickup. The Silver Sensor adds to ultra-low noise operation. Both new pickups are available in black, white or cream covers to match your axe. Like all Lace Sensors, the Purple Sensor and Emerald Sensor all feature Barium Ferrite magnets
