In an attempt to get that impressive guitar sound, active pickups have been sought by guitarists. However, the hassle of additional weight and the constant need for batteries have long been an annoyance. Could the Lace Alumitone Deathbucker be the end of active pickup tyranny?  

Lace has applied their Alumitone pickup design to the electric bass to produce soapbar-style pickups that are quieter, lighter, and more aluminumy than the competition.  

Lace has announced two new additions to the Lace Sensor line of pickups. The Emerald Sensor and Purple Sensor have tones that fit together so well, they're even going to be packaged together as two parts of a three pickup "Super Pack."
