Lâg T66D, Lâg T100Asceblk, Lâg T200Dce: New Tramontane Acoustic, Acoustic / Electric Guitars
At Winter NAMM 2011, Lâg Guitars debuted several new additions to its Tramontane (Trah-mon-tahn) line of acoustic and acoustic / electric guitars. These fresh Tramontane takes include the T66D, the T100ASCEBLK, and the T200DCE.
The Lâg Tramontane line includes both steel-string and nylon-string guitars, which are distinguished by their use of fine woods, quality craftsmanship and finishes, beveled corner bindings, and proprietary preamp / pickup systems.
From the Tramontane Standard Range, the T66D is a beginner guitar (pictured here) featuring a deep gloss finish and bold black and ivory rosette. The dreadnought-style body features a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, an Indonesian Rosewood fingerboard, rolled bindings, and a relieved headstock.
The new T100ASCEBLK guitar is part of the Tramontane Stage Range. This auditorium slim body cutaway model begins with a solid red cedar top and a black deep gloss finish, paired with solid wood rolled bindings, and a relieved Indonesian rosewood headstock. A Lâg Nanoflex pickup is featured under the bridge saddle, and it is complemented by a StudioLag preamp, which has five custom-voiced analog presets for instant access to a wide range of acoustic tones.
Also part of the Stage Range, the T200DCE dreadnought cutaway acoustic / electric has a French Satin finish with a solid Cedar top, Mahogany back and sides, solid Rosewood bindings, relieved headstock and the StudioLâg Plus preamp with five custom voiced presets and a built-in chromatic tuner.
The T66D is priced at $280 (MSRP), the T100ASCEBLK at $675 (MSRP), and the T200DCE is listed at $750 (MSRP). All new models are now available from Lâg Guitars.
