Leslie Sanford Super Chorus: With Four Voices, Is More Like Sanford Super Barbershop Quartet
Lelie Sanford is really movin' up in the world, to that de-luxe apartment in the sky, with his ever-expanding roster of VST effects and instruments. The latest addition to the Sanford family is the Sanford Super Chorus, and it's sure to be more successful than the short-lived Jeffersons spin-off Checking-In.
The Sanford Super Chorus is a four-voice effect (Sanford and Son and Son and Son) that's capable of producing heart-attack-inducingly rich tone. Each of the four voices functions as an independent effect, meaning the Super Chorus is a bit like having four chorus plugins in one GUI. Delicious.
There's also four separate, independent LFOs that act as modulation sources for the chorus voices. The LFOs can be synchronized in different ways, or set to operate independently, making for one versatile chorusing effect.
A listen to the sound samples on the Super Chorus page on Leslie Sanford's reveals an array of possible effects that go beyond the standard "chorusing" sounds, and venture into the realms of phasing, flanging and crazy de-tuning.
Sanford Super Chorus is available as a Windows VST only, for $15 US.
