Lexicon Omega Studio Bundle: Complete Desktop Recording Setup

November 20, 2009
Lexicon Omega Studio Desktop Recording Bundle is an integrated computer recording package that combines all the basics for profe

Score a complete home-studio setup with Lexicon's new Omega Studio Desktop Recording Bundle, an integrated computer recording package that combines all the basics for professional 24-bit recording: the Omega Studio USB recording interface, Steinberg Cubase LE 4 multitrack audio and MIDI recording software, the Lexicon Pantheon VST reverb plugin, and an AKG D 88 S lead vocal microphone and mic cable.

The Omega Studio recording interface is an 8-input, 4-bus, 2-output, USB I/O mixer with inserts, instrument input, MIDI I/O, and complete metering and monitoring functions. The unit has hands-on control over the most important functions and it can record up to four tracks at once, which allows for easy recording, arranging, editing, processing, and mixing of multiple parts.

Cubase LE 4 integrates with the Omega mixer, providing 48-track recording and every tool you need to fine-tune your work. Use the Pantheon VST reverb plugin to further refine your recorded pieces by adding a varying degrees of reverb and delay. Lastly, the included AKG D 88 S dynamic handheld mic rounds out the package and makes for straight-forward vocal recording.

Lexicon Omega

By: Johnny Megabyte

I've looked at the Lexicon Omega device before ... USB 1.1 = 16/48 Audio ... NOT 24 Bit.
Maybe Cubase LE 4 is 24 bit, but I highly doubt the Lexicon Omega is.
Secondly, it's 8 inputs, but you can only record on 4 at once. Very misleading.
Lexicon website does not mention what the bit arte is ... only USB 1.1
