Lexicon PCM96 Stereo Reverb And Effects Processor Fresh At AES
Lexicon's PCM96 takes center stage at Lexicon's booth at AES, introduced as a professional quality stereo reverb and effects processor. The PCM96, first and foremost, enriches your sound with Lexicon's renowned reverb algorithms while secondarily adding delays and effects. The PCM96 also fits into your studio as a control-only DAW insert or a FireWire streaming hardware plug-in.
Lexicon's PCM96 draws off the PCM60 and PCM70 signal processors for several classic reverbs and effects. It ushers in the return of Lexicon's Concert Hall reverb. Blending new with old, brand new Room and Hall algorithms make their splash with the PCM96, and a myriad of new mono reverb effects appear as well while new capabilities are provided by reversible reflection patterns, multimode filters, and "infinity switches."
Hook it up with two XLR analog channels or two channels of XLR AES/EBU digital I/O, MIDI, Wordclock, Ethernet, or FireWire connectivity. Its connective versatility makes the PCM96 a handy tool both in studio or on stage.
