To follow its Jam with Black Sabbath Guitar Tuition DVD set released last month, Lick Library has released Jam with Def Leppard. This new tutorial set includes a double DVD and a CD of backing tracks to play along with and help you hone your guitar-playing skills. Jam with Def Leppard covers the band's music from the early years through the most recent tracks, helping you to learn their songs and get a better feel for your instrument at the same time.

Def Leppard is one of only five rock bands with two original studio albums selling over ten millions copies in the U.S. The other four bands are, of course, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Van Halen. For those not in the know, Def Leppard music is a multi-layered mixture of hard rock and pop, full of harmonic vocals and melodic guitar riffs.

Jam with Def Leppard lets you play the lead on seven Def Leppard tracks, including "Bring On the Heartbreak," "Photograph," and "Rock of Ages." The DVD also breaks down into smaller-sized pieces the title track of Hysteria, a mellow ballad with a clean guitar melody, with eleven guitar parts.

The Guitar Tuition DVD is led by Jamie Humphries, one of the UK’s top rock guitarists who is currently on tour with Brian May. Like other Guitar Tuition sets, Jam with Def Leppard offers the Lick Library split screen so that you can clearly see both of Humphries hands as he demonstrates the tracks and explains how to play them. The set comes with a CD of all seven backing tracks, allowing you to practice what you learn as you would with a real band. With the DVD, you can go back, slow down, and play along whenever and however you want.
