LightWing AxeGlove Shows Some Glove To Fender And PRS

October 20, 2008
LightWing AxeGlove for PRS Guitars and Fender Basses

Yes, yes, we know that the Guitar pictured with this article is neither a Paul Reed Smith NOR any type of bass. Thing is, these new products are SO NEW, the AxeGlove website didn't even have promo shots yet available. Did that stop Gearwire from bringing you the news? No, it did not.

What's news today is that the AxeGlove is now available in sizes that fit all PRS single- and double-cutaway guitars, as well as sizes for Fender Jazz Bass and Precision Bass models. These models are in addition to sizes already available for Gibson Les Pauls (single- and double-cutaway, Gibson SGs, Fender Telecasters and Fender Stratocasters.

The AxeGlove -- if you didn't already know -- is a unique guitar protection system that guards against nicks, gouges and scratches to your valuable instrument. The AxeGlove stays on your guitar whether it's in a case, hanging on your wall or even hanging off your shoulder. Yes, AxeGlove was designed to protect your guitar even while you are playing it (the guitar).

The AxeGlove system is a two piece, double layered, cotton flannel covering that hugs your guitar tighter than a grandparent after thanksgiving dinner. In addition to encasing your guitar in loving fabric, AxeGlove also provides pick storage for easy access while in performance.

Yes, they now have pictures up, though they didn't when this article was posted. Thanks for the update, C.T.O.
