Livid Instruments Ohm Classic Recycling Program: Creating Something New Out Of Something Old
Livid Instruments are among one of those companies that have such great concern for the environment. To put that case in point, they are offering interested users of the Ohm Classic (a.k.a. Ohm 36) an upgrade to the new Ohm64 by using recyclable material that will be salvaged from their very own Ohm36 units. The announcement of Livid Instruments Ohm Classic Recycling Program comes at a great time as they contribute a step closer towards an environmentally sound world.
The Ohm Classic Recycling program allows Livid Instruments to reuse anything that is recyclable from old Ohm Classic units such as wood panels, fader and rotary knobs, crossfaders, rotary pots, ribbon cables, and fasteners to turn your Ohm Classic into an entirely new Ohm64 control surface. This recycled controller will have the features of a brand-new Ohm64 but with a significantly less environmental impact./p>
Ohm Classic users interested in getting an Ohm64 is bound to get a great deal. Not only do they help the environment by allowing Livid Instruments to make use of the materials from their old control surfaces, they also get to pay only 349 USD for that new Ohm64. Compared to a newly manufactured Ohm64 from new materials (a 599 USD value), these recycled versions cost a lot less plus all the new features are added.
For fast turnaround times, recyclings will be performed in limited runs, the first of which will be on July 23 and will be completed in one week. Participants who get to have their units refitted to become new Ohm64 controllers will also get a free copy of Cell DNA, an application that is customized for the Ohm64.
This program is currently offered only for wooden models. The metal recycling program will be implemented once Livid Instruments releases the metal version of the Ohm64.
