The vintage-inspired LH-200 has a pre-war body style, the warmth and projection typical of a much-larger guitar, and aesthetically pleasing cosmetic features.
The guitar features a vintage sunburst finish, open-geared butterbean tuners, a solid spruce top, a mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, grained ivoroid body binding, and a rosewood fretboard.
Modeled after small-bodied flat-top acoustic guitars from the 1930s, the LH-200's smaller body size would work well for players and touring guitarists who need an easy-to-travel-with instrument. According to the Loar, the guitar has a classic blues tone reminiscent of the historic blues boxes of the 1920s and '30s.
