M-Audio Torq
August 15, 2006
In the very near future, people will marvel that old-school DJs developed back problems lugging all that heavy stuff around. M-Audio's DJ software Torq provides a virtual mixer to control your digital library. Torq allows you to cue two digital tracks from your hard drive in a wide variety of formats including .mp3, .aiff, .wav, and .aac files. There is also auto beat-matching, crossfading, on-the-fly remixing and remote control via MIDI and timecode vinyl. Thanks to a variety of features in Torq you can match beats without using headphones, do a DJ mix with only one CD player, and much more. Is the backpack DJ kit around the corner? Thanks to products like Torq, we're getting closer all the time.
Check out the Torq page.
