Great mixer good effects but comes no way near as its predesseser the Mackie DFX 6 .
The mackie DFX 6 has much better mic pre's they are warmer and have more clarity.
The Mackie pro FX 8 is a bit smaller in size then the DFX 6 though it has a Hi Z input for acoustic guitars whic is a plus.
It still does'nt compare the previous model I am afraid.
