It's about bloody time that Marshall decided to pay homage to one of the greatest rockers ever to play live entrance music at Wrestlemania. I'm obviously talking about Motorhead's performance at Wrestlemania 21; not the P.O.D. spectacle a year later. If you were thinking Fozzy, you might be mistaken -- they've yet to play live during Wrestlemania.

Marshall is proud to announce the Lemmy Kilmister Signature 1992LEM Super Bass Head with matching MF280L 4x12" and oversized 1979L 4x15" cabinets. He's the first bassist to receive a Signature Series bass amp, and if you're one of the lucky ones to get your hands on the limited quantity that will be released, you can be one of the first (or possibly last) to own one.

The 1992LEM replicates the "Murder One" -- Lemmy's pet name for his 1992 Super Bass Head from 1976 (some such with a time vortex). This trooper was in business for more than thirty years, and only retired when Marshall presented Lemmy with the 1992LEM prototypes.

Lemmy commented:

"Marshall amps and speakers have stood behind me on every continent. I have never found anyone better to have at my back. If it has Marshall written on it, you can buy it without even a test drive -- they're that good."

Marshall bent over backwards to try to get as many source components from their original suppliers and manufacturers as humanly possible. On the inside, Marshall modified the amp's circuitry to create a hybrid amp between the 1992 Super Bass and elements from a Super Lead amp for a wider, brighter, tighter sound. Four EL34 power tubes and a lock of Lemmy's mustache drive the power section, and it's a two channel amp with a three-band EQ and three ECC83 preamp valves.
