The other thing is this is the only USB mic on the market that is running on 48 volts and is using gold plated diaphragm. Getting 48 volts out of a 5-volt USB cable is extremely difficult and we’ve done it. So, we’re very proud it sounds like our other studio mics but there’s no preamp needed.
