Martin Guitars 1960s D28 Acoustic Is A Point Of Pride For The Repair Dept (Video)

January 27, 2010
Martin Repair Shop 1960s D28 Acoustic Winter NAMM 2010

You know how, in Star Trek DS9, the character Jadzia is a humanoid host for a slug-like symbiont called Dax, which symbiont is the bearer and sharer of a greater wisdom than the host, and so both being benefit from the symbiotic relationship? Well I may be taking a dorky reference way too far here, but I like to think of this Martin Guitars D28 from the 1960s as the "Jadzia" to its beautiful, resonant and -- dare I say it -- wise old Brazilian rosewood "Dax".

Man, I should have played the theme from DS9 in this demo. God I want this D28.
