After more than 161 years of using its headstock configuration, Martin Guitar announced the official trademark of that same headstock -- its shape, design, everything. From now on, no copycats will be allowed. Pass it on.

C. F. Martin & Co. (Martin Guitar) joins VH1 Save The Music Foundation to launch the Songwriters Music Series of concerts.
To benefit the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, Martin Guitar will be helping launch the Songwriters Music Series of concerts featuring Matthew Morrison (Glee), The Band Perry, and a surprise musical artist. The Songwriters Music Series will help the Foundation continue to spread the word about the importance of musical education programs in public schools.

This week at Musikmesse 2011, C. F. Martin & Co. unveiled a half-school of new ukulele instruments. The Uke lineup now includes the 2 Uke, 2 Concert Uke, 2 Tenor Uke, 2K Uke, 2K Concert Uke, and 2K Tenor Uke.
