Martin Guitar 00-15M: New Blues Guitar Intro'd
You asked for it and Martin Guitar delivered -- in response to suggestions from Martin Owners Club members, Martin Guitar announced the new 00-15M, an authentic blues-type guitar reminiscent of small-bodied Martins of the 1930s.
Favored by legions of blues players, these mahogany-bodied guitars are said to have a warm tone and clear voice all their own.
The 00-15M guitar features the tone-enhancing A-frame sitka bracing, along with a single ring wood rosette that brings back 1930s traditional looks. Its genuine mahogany 14-fret neck boasts a classic solid headstock with vintage-style Gotoh tuners, while the fingerboard and "belly" bridge are crafted of East Indian rosewood and the nut and compensated saddle are made of bone.
The what's-old-is-new-again guitar is finished in satin lacquer over a dark-stained body.
