M-Audio Studiophile Q40 Headphones Released

November 09, 2007
M-Audio Studiophile Q40

M-Audio's new headphones, the Studiophile Q40s, provide extreme durability along with studio comfort and overall convenience, making them ideal for travel as well as regular listening. To add to their convenience, the Q40s are not only fully collapsible, but also come with a storage bag.

The Studiophile Q40 headphones also boast extra-large, 40mm-diameter drivers, which aid in full frequency response and extended lows. The bass response is also improved by neodymium magnets, copper-clad aluminum voice coils, and low-mass treated mylar vented diaphragms.

In addition to sounding good, the Studiophile Q40s also feel good. Their ear cups completely surround the ear, which is comfortable and also serves to isolate sound. Sound isolation allows for low-volume listening with high clarity, which will save your ears in the long run.

  • 40mm drivers provide exceptional frequency response

  • Detachable, replaceable 3-meter cable with 1/8” connectors
