Meisel COM-90: New Clip-On Chromatic Instrument Tuner Introduced

April 02, 2010
Meisel COM-90, a clip-on chromatic instrument tuner, features a flexible gooseneck, selectable calibration, and bright display.

With a flexible gooseneck on board, the new Meisel COM-90 clip-on instrument tuner ($34.95 MSRP) can be placed and viewed any which way.

The COM-90 is chromatic tuner with selectable calibration for guitar, bass, violin, and even ukulele. Though it's optimized for those instruments, the tuner can tune virtually any other instrument too. The COM-90's calibration range extends to A= 410 Hz, which is a nice feature to have while tuning early music instruments for period pieces.

Further, the tuner features a large and bright display that shows the target note and the calibration setting. When the note is perfectly in tune, the display changes from bright blue to bright green, making it easy to visually confirm your intonation at a glance. You can tune with either the built-in microphone or a contact transducer in the gel-padded clip.

Lightweight (1.5 oz.) and compact (2" x 1" x 3.4"), the COM-90 tuner is powered by one CR2032 3V coin-type battery, which comes with the unit. For more information, visit meiselaccessories.com.
