MeldaProduction MMultiBandConvolution: New Convolution Plugin Released
Need a no-latency tool to process impulse responses? If you do, turn to MMultiBandConvolution by MeldaProduction. This convolution plugin is ideal for processing recorded or generated impulse responses (IRs) and for simulating halls, rooms, boxes, microphones, and even other plugins. In addition to those features, MMultiBandConvolution also comes with several of its own impulse responses, plus filter generators and an integrated reverb.
MMultiBandConvolution features at a glance:
- File manager with automatic stitching
- Integrated reverberation and filter generator
- 2 impulse responses per band with modulation
- 1 to 6 fully configurable independent bands
- 4 global modulators
- Up to 8 channels surround processing
- Easy-to-use user interface
- Automatic synchronization to host tempo
- MIDI controllers with MIDI Learn
- 64-bit processing and an unlimited sampling rate
- Optimized for SSE and SSE2 processors
- Global preset management
- Fully automatable
The integrated file manager explores the internal IR library or the global file system and lets you choose from your own impulse response libraries. The MMultiBandConvolution plugin loads WAV, FLAC, and MP3 files; recognizes even multichannel waves; and combines multiple files together for multichannel usage with several topologies, such as true-stereo. According to MeldaProduction, the length of the impulse responses is only limited by your computing power.
Likewise, the plugin's integrated reverberation and filter generator allow you to do more than just load IRs; you can also generate them. This part of the plugin covers a few types of reverbs with several adjustable parameters and a filter generator that is usable for some technical operations.
Each band can have two IR generators of any type, file, reverb, or filter. Using a simple slider, you can control the ratio between these two to create realistic dynamic reverbs. And by attaching the slider to one of the modulators, you can make this process completely automatic.
MMultiBandConvolution features one to six fully configurable independent bands built on three transparent crossover algorithms (analog, linear-phase, and hybrid), along with fully adjustable limits and input gains, and peak meters for all bands and the master. There are also four global modulators -- in each instance you can have up to four modulation full-featured LFOs that can modulate any set of parameters, including other modulators. Each modulator also features an envelope follower and MIDI reset features. What's more, the plugin can handle not only mono and stereo signals, but up to eight channels of surround audio, making it ideal for audio production for movies, games, and so forth.
The plugin also boasts a simple user interface, automatic synchronization to host tempo, MIDI controllers with MIDI Learn, 64-bit processing, an unlimited sampling rate (recommended maximum is 384 kHz), and global preset management.
MMultiBandConvolution is now available for the introductory price of 10 EUR (approximately $14) instead of 35 EUR ($46). For more details, visit meldaproduction.com.
