Microsonic Music Fills Our Ears With Their Sweet Molds Once Again
At Summer NAMM 2008, we check out what Microsonic Music is up to, and it's no surprise that they're working on custom ear buds. Now, they're available in an assortment of colors and flavors -- that's right; they're edible*!
The new camo color helps your buds stay discrete if you're using them in a jungle, and the new bling color helps you stay safe when driving to Club 662.
If only Microsonic was around in 1996. Tupac would probably still be alive, just like he is today.
BOB RIORDAN: Bob here, here at the Microsonic Music booth, to show you some of the new Microsonic products being rolled out at the Summer NAMM show. Joining the line of universal monitors are our new line of custom monitors by Microsonic Music. So, here we’re looking at how the packaging comes for either the custom single or the custom dual. It also can be colors, bling, caramel, what’s your choice. Any of these can be added to your Microsonic Music custom [INDISCERNIBLE].
Now these join the Microsonic Music line and universal product. So, the universal monitors include this is the EPIC X, which optimized for low frequency reproduction, and they include a carrying case, extra ear flanges for different sized ears, and also something to clean it and then another adapter and CD.
So, the EPIC JC is also a universal monitor, and the EPIC JC is optimized for high frequency reproduction. Something unique to Microsonic in-ear monitors is the movable flange. This can rotate about 30 degrees of arc and offers many of the benefits that a custom unit would offer, so to shape the way this fits in your ear canal. So, this is a single-driver unit which will outperform many dual driver units out in the market.
It’s all about the fit. The fit is everything.
