MidiKarval VB3 Controller Isn't A Controller, But It Allows Other Things To Be Controlled

MidiKarval VB3 Controller

MidiKarval thinks that the SoundFonts VB3 is such a veritable virtual simulator of tonewheel organs like the Hammond B3 that its out of control. MidiKarval has released their own VB3 Controller to reign in VB3.

The VB3 Controller isn't a physical controller itself. It's a MIDI processor VSTi that allows VB3's five sets of drawbars (upper manual A and B sets, lower manual A and B sets and pedals) to be controlled from a single set of only nine actual drawbars.

The original tonewheel emulated by the VB3 has a set of inverted color keys on the bottom octave notes that call up preset sounds. Both VB3 and the VB3 Controller mimic this ability. Six banks of eighteen presets apiece are included with the Alternative Presets feature and can be called using your inverted octave keys.

Finally, Split Mode allows you to reverse the bottom two octaves if your MIDI Keyboard has five octaves to control the VB3 pedalboard. Programs Selection also adds 10 preset storage spots.
