In spite of its own name, Monkey Tools isn't monkeying around when it comes to their newest tool, Sound Grinder Pro. Sound Grinder Pro combines waveform editing and batch-processing while building on their Sound Grinder software.

The Waveform Editor is designed to optimize use and save time normally spent learning or remembering where to find certain functions. Fades, loops and markers help ease operation, multi-channel audio is editable and if you don't like how things are arranged, customizing your interface is easier than customizing your Facebook profile.

You can batch-process audio files through plugins, too. Sound Grinder Pro also allows creation of custom pipelines which you can preview before processing before making presets or "Droplets" to process files via drag-and-drop.

Sound Grinder Pro is also packed with the new mp3 codec from Thomson / Fraunhofer. It allows mono, stereo and 5.1 surround files in mp3 format. Finally, tons of metadata tools are available. You can copy or move metadata from tag to tag.
