Monster Cable: The Monster Power Pro 900
JOE WALLACE: I’m Joe Wallace for Gearwire.Com. We’re on the floor of NAMM 2007. I’m with Bill Perry of Monster Cable. How are you?
BILL PERRY: Doing fantastic, Joe. How about yourself?
JOE WALLACE: Great. Now tell me about your new Pro 900.
BILL PERRY: Super. The Pro 900 is a fantastic single rack space version of our Pro 800. It’s got Monster Clean Power as well as some few other features. Let me show them to you here real quick. More importantly, it’s small and it’s lightweight. It’s got courtesy outlets in the front. It's got what I like to call idiot lights to tell you that protection is on, clean power is on, ground’s okay. It’s got a really cool lamp extension which you can use with Monster’s LED lights. Plug it right in there and you got yourself a little lamp.
But what’s really cool here on the back, very simple. We’ve got nice color-coded outlets; drummers love the fact that they’re color coded. They can work them. You know how drummers are. You can laugh at that one, Joe.
Then we also we have the Pro 200. A lot of people are carrying around in their gig bags and they’re traveling on the road and they want to have some clean power. This little piece right here is simple, it’s compact, it’s going to give you clean power, and it’s going to give you protection. It’s a fantastic piece of gear to plug in where you can plug your amps into or any some sort of digital gear that you have.
JOE WALLACE: Great. Now, how much protection does this offer?
BILL PERRY: I thought the protection joke was going to go down there. No. This has 1,775 joules protection and this has -- Excuse me. This has 1,100 joules of protection. He just got that. It was like FedEx joke. He just arrived. It just arrived. Okay. And this one has 1,850 worth of joules of protection.
JOE WALLACE: Great. We’ve been talking with Monster Cable. I’m Joe Wallace on the floor of NAMM ’07 for Gearwire.Com.
