An intro video posted on Moog's website yesterday featured some mysterious shots and sounds of what is rumored to be a Moog guitar. At first, it seemed like an April Fools Day prank, but the video remains along with rumors that Moog is in fact making a guitar.

Either that, or their webmaster called in sick.

Regardless, we'll be keeping both ears open for any more news about the possibility of such a guitar. After all, the Moog EtherMusic Festival is coming up at the end of the month. Even if it is a celebration of all things theremin, I wouldn't put it past those sly Moog dogs.
