Moog Music MIDI MuRF Pattern Editor: In other News, Moog Nearly Exhausts Its Supply Of "M"s
With its beefy knobs and handsome wood sides, it's hard not to want to fiddle psychically with the Moogerfooger MIDI MuRF. Sometimes, though, you want to get a little deeper. That's why the Moog Music MIDI MuRF Pattern Editor utility was released. This free download lets you get in touch with your MuRF in ways you never thought legal possible.
The MIDI and CV enabled MIDI MuRF has already become a sound design sensation, what with its eight analog filters. The new Pattern Editor grants access to parameters previously inaccessible, allowing users to quickly create their own filter patters via a simple graphical interface (that kinda looks like a cribbage pegboard). Each filter band has 64 possible steps for some fairly complex polyrhythms.
MIDI MuRF can store up to 22 user patterns created with the Pattern Editor, but you can also store patterns on your host computer for a nearly infinite number of patterns.
Just go to the MIDI MuRF's product page and click on the "software" tab.
