They say that violence begets violence. If so, MoReVox DriveDrums may be the most immoral release of the year. This drum sample collection -- coming soon -- proudly labels itself as "aggressive" and "violent," and it's quite a surprise coming from the same company that brought us that trippy reverb pack with the VW Bus on the front of it. Looks like MoReVox pulled a Huey Lewis and found A New Drug.

DrumDrive achieves its disquiet demeanor through the use of several different distortion generating devices. Expertly-recorded acoustic drum samples were pushed like cattle through tape-machines, mic pre's, tube distortion boxes and the like. Samples are divided into "Drive Samples" (smoother distortion character of tape compression warmth, subtle valve saturation) and "Over Samples" (more aggressive distortion from Valve/Console Preamps, Analog Tape Saturation, Heavy Valve Compression, Dedicated distortion outboard).

In total, MoReVoX DriveDrums will contain 30 Kicks, 30 Snares, 8 Toms Racks, 30 Cymbals and more for a total of 800 Samples 24-Bit / 44.1khz.
