MOTU BPM "Beat Production Machine" Not A Machine At All
January 28, 2009
In designing MOTU BPM -- the developer's new "urban rhythm production center" -- a truckload of money was saved by not making the chassis out of brushed steel. Nor did MOTU employ plastic in the design. Hell, they didn't even use aluminum foil: the thing's not a real machine at all, it's a plugin. Yes, it still seems like a pretty cool plugin, but c'mon, MOTU. You just became "Exhibit 'A'" in my chapter on "How To Disappoint Your Potential Customer Base With A Misleading Photo Campaign."
Oh yeah, I've got a new book coming out, it's called "Advertising: The Movie!!!"
